The Jewish Muezzin - Book
This is Kobi’s astonishing account of what it feels like to build bridges through music, to bring light under the darkest of shadows, to find Palestinians and Israelis singing together – an inspiring glimpse of coexistence in one of the most fractured places on earth.
The book tells the story of a band and the extraordinary things it has brought about in the Holy Land — a bleeding land — through the power of metal music. The band’s fans were imprisoned, an Israeli-Palestinian tour took place over a decade ago, hundreds of fans have tattooed the band’s symbols on their bodies, and the whole phenomenon is a story unlike anything else in the world of music — or perhaps anywhere else.
